Ive got a replica M3 lip spoiler installed for my car (non-e46) :Qboy:

Compared to my original lip spoiler which i had on my previous car (yah it is an e46) ...the bottom of the spoiler didnt have a cut-in groove for the double sided tape to go in (the replica's bottom was flat smooth)

I installed the replica lip and it has a lit bit of a gap between the spoiler and the trunk due to the tape.

Is there a thinner tape u can buy so that it'll be flat on the trunk as i know there are several ppl here with replicas....perhaps tape from the BMW dealership??

Thanks

I think the only 1 to use is 3m double sided tape. They come in different widths and thicknesses and are sticky as fingers with crzay glue on them. I think Surk did his this way with a rep lip, and there was no gap.

If you can borrow the tape, better...cause the stuff is expensive.
