I have been seeing some of the data and plots that are able to be generated from my friends new data logger that he tried at Fastlaps and I'm very sold on this thing.
you can do data plots onto a mapped track layout
usual lap times, beautiful thing is you can determine as many sectors as you want and do as many split times. Really good for determining where you can improve or determining what your theoretical best lap time could be
max speed, speed in each sector
max g lateral, accelerating and braking
I really like the track mapping and overlay feature. That is simply amazing and you can plot your sector times.
I am told you can also plot your actual lines on the map plot if you drive the inside and outside lines of the track to plot the initial boundaries. That would mean you can even determine the best line through the corners with your sector plots....
