Well after 2 seperate nights of debadging the wheels, I finally got them on.
Volk Racing LE-37T's 19x8.5 front with 245/35/r19. Rear 19x10.5 with 275/30/r19.
With all the threads about them on the M3forum, I was sold on them. M3 specific very lightweight wheels <19lbs front and rear with Toyo's, one of the lighest if not the lightest tires in that size available.
BTW. Thank you Sam @ Rennsport for the great advice and service !!!!!
Lowered on eibach sportline springs with a mild lowering of .6" up front and .9 at the rear. I didn't want to scrape the ground like the old 330ci anymore.... :crying:

The UUC Evo III with DSSR is taking some getting used to... The shifts are so short and positive vs the OEM rubbery shift feel of the E46 M3. :D

Very nice buddy and congrats. Can you elaborate on the SSK, I have to install mine. So is it a big improvement over stock, feel and so on.

Jess and I are still getting used to the shifter and I must admit at first you have to think about the proper way of shifting this thing and the shortness of it. The hetght is set about midway so it is not ultra short nor is it tall like the oem.
Just to give you an example, On her first time driving the car, she was checking if the car was in gear or not and assumed it was in neutral. Stalled because it was already in first.... Since then we haven't stalled yet. Gear whine when downshifting is a bit louder but I like the sound of it :}:

nice man, looks great
and not that many people have them, they are pretty rare for m3s (to my knowledge)
were they in the same price range as HRE?

I like the lowered look to but I just couldn't worry about pot holes anymore. Plus there are 2 speed bumps that I have to go through every day that are not very speedbump friendly.
The eibach's are the mildest lowering springs available for the M3 and the ride is so smooth yet firm when need be :)

Less than 1/2 price of USED HRE 841 or 843R's which were the only ones we were looking at. Our first set of brand new wheels for the BMW.
5lbs less weight too. :D

HREs are heavy, despite how they are advertiesed as "light weight" Their new series are light though.
Eric, where did you get the SSK installed?

realistically, people buy HRE for the name and the style... i mean, if you dont track your car, what difference does it make?
anyhow, eric.. your sucha pimp man.

Personally, I think it does make a difference. Each to his own. I think HRE makes some of the best looking wheels in the market though. Like I stated in a previous thread, more show than go. Either way, they are nice looking rims, and Im talking from experince here.

Actually, don't get me wrong, but If I won the lottery I would get HRE's 20" 843R's but the Volks came in first since $$$ were a deciding factor. :}:

Good choice Eric! I like the clean look of the Volk rather than HRE or iForge.
BTW, is my TE37 considered half debadge! BTW, I like the flag center cap that on the other CSL thread, hey, Eric do you know where to get that?

I think one should always get the best wheels one can for the $$$. I would never get HRE for the track though...maybe for my Saturday night M3 yes...
HRE's are not suited for the track as there are alot of other choices for way cheaper. (SSR, BBS, Volk, OZ to name a few)

Eric,
Rims look very good on your car. Track-oriented, take no prisoners look (like it is about to kick some serious butt) . The rear photo shot from that angle gives an agressive, movement feel to the photo (sort of like a drag racer about to accelerate, with that huge lip and wide T1-S thread).
I would use that rear shot for your new signature; or if you want to have a better view of the rim, a similar composition/angle but take a photo just a foot to the left of the original position.
And as Golden pointed out - unique.

After driving the car a few times now, I am getting used to the SSK. I can say that I like it so much better than before! I even notice that I'm not over rev-ing the car compared to before. It will take some getting used to but all-in-all I like it!

Thanks everyone for the compliments!
I'm happy with the wheels / tires. I know, I'm not looking forward to the first sign of snow. We just got them installed last Friday (Nov 5/04). So hopefully we'll have more days to drive the car.
I don't think you can order them without the stickers. Some ppl like the stickers some don't but I guess its up to you if you want to remove them which in our case, we did! I also like the clean and simple look!

It's wise to debage it now... ;)
cuz overtime the stickers will get damaged by stone chip / haters... it will look weied by then and if you debage it later there might be colour distoration...
