The Bentley Manual up to 2001 and the ETK disc up to 2001 are the most common.

The book you can find on ebay for around $70US.

I've got an '02 330ci. I'm pretty sure the books for the 01 would work.

The ones for $70 on ebay refuse to ship to canada. I never understand that since all they have to do is fill out a few extra boxes confirming the value of the item.

I'd be interested in your buddy's 01 3 series manual.
