Well I got inspired one day and decided to put it on canvas. I'm by no means a great artist but I don't think it turned out all that bad.

...anyways I thought I'd share and maybe get some feedback/criticism :^o:  :Idunno:  :crying: :D

Can you tell I really love my car?

Thanks for looking :)

That looks nice. What did you use? oil on canvas or what?
What inspired you to do the corner angle?

Thanks!

I used acrylic on canvas. It's easier (more forgiving) to use than oil. I've always loved the three quarter view...it shows the gentle flaring of the fenders, the trademark dual headlights and lets not forget the ACS Type IIIs.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

It's a 325CI. I pianted the headlight trim silver inorder to show the detail. I guess its not 100% accurate (but that's OK, It's art!)

It's sitting in my living room for now.

..hmm what should I paint next...may be an overhead view of a Bright Red Ducati on tall and narrow canvas....oh yeah!

Thanks again

Is anyone interested in a custom painting of their own car? If you liked the one I did for myself I would be happy to create something for you. Some future projects I'm considering include a close-up of the side vents and badge of a Z3, a 3/4 view of a rear wheel with a deep deep lip and big brake kit, and a real close up of a xenon light assembly.

If you're interested please PM me and we can discuss further.

Thanks :)

Holy crap dude you got some skills there :yourmyido
Seriously though you should think of doing up a few painting and between here and fanatics I bet you could have a nice little side line job going there.
Damn I wish I had skills like that.
