If the order will be ready this Saturday, then I will definitely bring it on Sunday. But when I spoke to him today, he asked me to call first before coming since he may not have them ready :(
Anyway, I reminded him that he promised for Saturday, and I will do another follow-up with him on Wednesday/Thursday.

Oddly enough.. I feel the same way. I kinda miss the west end but only if i drive there with no traffic. ;) Don't ask me to be there at 6pm. Cause it won't happen. I'd end up leaving at like 11am just to get there on time.

as I had mentioned, my Dad many moon's ago was really into this stuff...he actually had one of the premier record collections in his time and was actually in an article in Stereophile or something like that...

right now he more about convenience and watching home theater than high-end, but still has some decent stuff...Classe Audio amps, Hafler preamps, Thorens turntable and rosewood cartridge...he actually had the original distribution rights in Canada for Klipsch before they went big and unfortunately sold his rights to some bad partners...
I think he had before he sold them a few years ago, one of the original gigantic Klipschhorn speakers

he handed me down some Acoustic Research bookshelves, RA Labs centre and his Velodyne ULD-12 sub for my meager home theater setup...
