I have silver grey metallic paint, there is a vertical scratch about 6" long on my side door. Like something very sharp rubbed against the door, but very thin line smaller than a mm thickness. White undercoating is showing.
My car is CPO and the dealer said they can't easily fix this (the car came this way).
I have OEM touch up paint - can I fill this in? What if I dilute the paint and very carefully try to fill in the line. I don't want to goop it up, not sure it can be rubbed down afterwards to level it out.
