it was an awesome day... i think it was one of the first good days of the summer...not that we had all that many.

I wish I had the time and energy to organize more of these.

Yes, Glen and I are active members of that forum and the lapping event was great. Glen did a great job with it, hope the next occurs when Im in town.

nah, this is a great forum. The lapping day was awsome though and Gen and Ali who organized the event did a great job. They usually have one event a year, you guys should try to come out next year.

Yah, it's my own event. It has grown to kind of a corporate event with sponsorship and prizes instead of just a lapping day. I have to raise a few thousand $$$ worth of food, prizes and giveaways to put on this event, so sponsorship is crucial.

I'm trying to get the time to put up a website and stuff to let all you guys know about the event. I also have some vids with Stalker and the rest of the gang for our last couple of meets that I would like to post....need time....more time... :Idunno:

Definetely looks like a first class event .... and I been to a few :-) Plus, a nice, large veriety of cars. Do you rent any other tracks? What kind of configuration (Fabi, Nelson, Full) do you run at Shannonville? I am guessing there are controlled passing rules.

depending on how many newbies (i.e. sponsors) come out I either have a morning/afternoon split between Nelson/Fabi and Pro Track in afternoon. That way we can run instruction sessions on Nelson in the morning while letting the advanced cars run Fabi. Yes controlled passing rules and I also control the beginner run group.

Shannonville has been for a few years, but I am thinking of trying Dunnville next year.

Dunnville? Is there a site about their track? And I thought I been to most tracks in 7 hour radius around TO :D

How about Cayuga? It is closer than Shannonville and should cost the same to rent.
